My second photo session while home in NY was for my dear friends Nicole and Tim. They had sweet little K in April, and we were able to capture he beautiful smile at 3 months. She is a strong baby girl, and has quite a personality!

Since my beautiful John Patrick was born in September, I have been doing fewer jobs and focusing on family time. We have really enjoyed our first 5 months together! Just so you don’t think I have packed up the camera, given that my professional blog is so dead these days, I am actually shooting more than ever,  just more at home of my sweetie pie! I love having a smiling subject to photograph every day! And, I am even more inspired to do newborn and baby portrait sessions! This little doll is one of my favorite clients. She is just beautiful!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing four wonderful families for my holiday mini sessions. We had to change locations at last minute due to the rain, and we ended up at the beautiful National Botanic Gardens in downtown DC. I will be posting some highlights from the different shoots. Thanks to all my families for your flexibility and for a fun day of portraiture! SO many beautiful children in one day!! (Moms and Dads aren’t so shabby either!)
